Color picker

Colors are one of the most important aspects of your design projects. You may use colors on almost every design element, from you design background to your image tint. From shapes to text, from borders to shadows, the colors are everywhere, so that’s why the color picker it’s so important to all of us.

PixTeller Editor has one of the most powerful and easy to use color picker available in any modern browser on the internet. The main PixTeller Editor color picker panels are:

  • Solid color - Simplified
  • Solid color - Advanced
  • Linear gradient
  • Radial gradient

Solid color - Simplified

Solid colors are available on all elements and options that support color. To change colors using the simplified solid color picker, you must follow the steps below:

  • 1. Click the color button in order to open the color picker panel (the color button is available on the following sections: Page background, Shapes, Text, Drawing, Groups, Border - Filters, Shadow - Filters).
  • 2. Choose the color from our colors list or if you are an expert, you can set it manually by typing the HEX or RGB color code.
  • 3. Click on the Ok green button to update the color.
Using the simplified solid color picker

Solid color - Advanced

In order to use the advanced solid color picker, please follow the steps below:

  • 1. Click on the color button that can be found under Properties in order to open the color picker panel (the color button is available on the following sections: Page background, Shapes, Text, Drawing, Groups, Border - Filters, Shadow - Filters).
  • 2. Click on the Advanced link in order to open the advanced solid color picker panel.
  • 3. Move the color bar and color selector until you have your preferred color. If you are an expert, you can set it manually by typing the HEX or RGB color code.
  • 4. Click on the Ok green button to update the color.

Linear gradient

In order to use linear gradient colors for the designs you have created on PixTeller Editor, please follow the steps below:

  • 1. Click on the color button that can be found under Properties (the color button is available on the following sections: Page background, Shapes and Text).
  • 2. Click on the Linear link in order to open the linear gradient panel.
  • 3. Press anywhere on the color bar to add a new color button, select it and then click on the Edit/Change or Delete color depending on what you want to do next.
  • 4. Press to move the color buttons on the color bar in order to set the start and end colors position and how they spread.
  • 5. Click the Ok green button to update the color.
Using the linear colors

Radial gradient

In order to use radial gradient color for the designs you have created on PixTeller Editor, please follow the steps below:

  • 1. Click on the color button that can be found under Properties in order to open the color picker panel (the color button is available on the following sections: Page background and Shapes).
  • 2. Click on the Radial link in order to open the linear gradient panel.
  • 3. Press anywhere on the color bar to add a new color button, select it and then click on the Edit/Change or Delete color depending on what you want to do next.
  • 4. Press to move the C point button in order to set the center position and color spread.
  • 5. You may set the colors by using sliders or typing values on the Radius, Ellipse or Angles sections.
  • 6. Click on the Ok green button to update the color.
